About Us:
The School
Superior Tutors was established in 1990 to provide
extra support for pupils of all abilities.
The Superior Tutors workshops are designed to bridge the
gap between one-to-one teaching and teaching a class, which
can often exceed thirty pupils.
The Principal
Mrs Helen Georgiades, a Bachelor of Education graduate
specialising in Mathematics. Mrs Georgiades began her teaching
career in 1989, during which she has been Maths subject leader,
ICT subject Leader, English Subject Leader, Special Educational
Needs coordinator, mentor and lead teacher for postgraduate
student teachers, Deputy Head teacher, Head teacher and consultant
in Special Educational Needs. Mrs. Georgiades is your day to
day contact, she carries out initial assessments, overlooks
all the workshops and provides advice and support during the
course of tuition.
The Teaching Staff
Our staff reflect the ethnic diversity of our pupils,
(Asian, Afro-Caribbean, African and European)
We recruit qualified teachers, graduates and primary helpers
with relevant experience. All staff are required to submit a
full curriculum vitae, together with two references, one personal
and the other professional. All staff are CRB checked.
